Manual Handling Training

Manual Handling Training for your staff

Plena Healthcare has developed a variety of manual handling training packages for staff that are currently delivered throughout Australia to staff at over 400 residential aged care facilities.

Manual Handling Training sessions can be modified to meet the needs of your site but can range from 20-minute toolbox sessions to 4-hour competency-based training. We ensure your staff meet their annual manual handling refresher requirements and provide competency training for all clinical and non-clinical staff, both residential and community based.

The competencies are signed off by the Physiotherapist or the Occupational Therapist with a certificate upon completion.

Our therapists come to you and are already experienced with the aged care facility setting, so they provide relevant information
Certificate of Completion
The competencies are signed off by the Physiotherapist or the Occupational Therapist who then provide a certificate to the individual, with your facility also receiving a copy. Upon implementation, we can ensure the competencies align with your policies and procedures.
