Aged Care Act and Support at Home updates

Plena Healthcare supports the passing of the new Aged Care bill through the Senate, marking a significant step for older Australians.

The bill introduces a rights-based model, ensuring long-term sustainability and a focus on quality care and safeguards for recipients. A key reform is the $4.3 billion investment into the Support at Home Program, designed to deliver sustainable in-home care, allowing recipients to remain in their homes while improving their health, independence, and quality of life. Plena is excited about the emphasis on clinical and Allied Health services and is committed to co-designing innovative care models with industry partners. To get involved in this process alongside Plena, please reach out to community@plenahealthcare.com.au for further details.
